Ingredients/Components

  • tsp salt - 1/8 item
  • tsp garlic powder - 1/8 item
  • tomato, peeled and chopped - 1 item
  • tsp olive oil - 2 item
  • tsp onion powder - 1/2 item
  • Dash black pepper - 1 item
  • can 8 oz tomato sauce - 1 item
  • C chopped celery - 1/3 item
  • C chopped green pepper - 1/3 item
  • tsp brown sugar - 2 item
  • Tbsp catsup - 1 item
  • can 4 oz mushroom stems and pieces, drained - 1 item
  • pkg 10 oz frozen whole kernel corn, defrosted, OR 1 can 12-16 oz drained - 1 item

How to make creole corn:

In 1 1/2 qt. casserole, combine celery, green pepper and oil. Cover. Microwave at High 2 to 2 1/2 minutes or until tender.

Stir in corn and remaining ingredients. Cover. Microwave at High 2-3 minutes or until thoroughly heated, stirring once. Serves 6-8.
