  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • eggs - 4 item
  • vanilla - 1 Tbsp
  • milk
  • pinch of salt - 1 item
  • raisins - 1/2 c
  • slices bread, cubed - 6 item
  • margarine, melted - 1/4 c

How to make creole bread pudding:

Combine bread cubes in milk; set aside. Beat eggs, sugar, vanilla, salt and margarine. Pour over bread and milk. Add raisins and mix well. Pour into baking dish. Place dish in a pan of hot water. Bake at 300° about 50 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
