Creamy rice pudding
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- milk - 2 c
- evaporated milk - 1/2 c
- egg - 1 item
- long grain rice - 1/4 c
- cinnamon optional - 1 tsp
How to make creamy rice pudding:
In a large saucepan heat milk. Add rice and simmer 15 minutes. In a bowl beat egg, sugar, vanilla and evaporated milk. Stir rice, one tablespoon at a time, into the egg mixture. Return to heat and cook slowly until thick.Recipe categories: Desserts, Puddings and mousses, Egg.
