  • pepper to taste - 1 item
  • stick butter or margarine - 1/2 item
  • cups potatoes diced and boiled - 5 item
  • cup onion diced - 1/2 item
  • chicken flavored bouillon cubes - 4 item
  • 1/2 cups milk - 2 item
  • parsley to taste - 1 item
  • strips bacon cooked crisp and crumbled - 6 item
  • cup grated cheddar cheese - 1 item

How to make creamy potato soup:

Combine potatoes, onion, bouillon and margarine in large saucepan. Cover with water and cook until tender. Add milk and reduce heat to low. Cook until heated. Add pepper. (Thicken with potato flakes if needed.) Pour into serving bowls. Top with bacon crumbs and cheese. Serve with cornbread. Yields 8 servings.
