  • pkg - 1 oz
  • milk - 2/3 c
  • egg - 1 item
  • grated Cheddar cheese - 1/2 c
  • instant minced onion - 1 Tbsp
  • soft butter or margarine - 1/4 c
  • instant mashed potato flakes for 8 servings

How to make creamy potato casserole:

Grease a 1-quart casserole. Prepare mashed potatoes as directed, except omit butter and milk. In a small bowl, blend cream cheese, milk, butter, egg and onion on low speed. Stir in potato mixture. Stir in grated cheese. Pour into prepared casserole. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
