Ingredients/Components

  • pkg - 1 oz
  • milk - 1/4 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • water - 1/3 c
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • chopped onion - 1/2 c
  • can tomatoes, cut up - 1 1/2
  • 2 oz - 1/2 c
  • ground beef - 1 lb
  • can tomato paste - 1 oz
  • garlic clove, minced - 1 item
  • dried oregano leaves, crushed - 1 tsp
  • lasagne noodles, cooked and drained - 8 oz

How to make creamy lasagne:

Brown meat in a large skillet; drain. Add onions; cook until tender. Stir in tomatoes, tomato paste, water, garlic and seasonings. Cover; simmer 30 minutes. Combine cream cheese and milk in a saucepan; stir over low heat until smooth. In a 13 x 9-inch baking pan, layer half of noodles, meat mixture, cream cheese mixture, Mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese; repeat layers. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
