Ingredients/Components

  • milk - 2 Tbsp
  • sour cream - 1 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • white wine vinegar - 2 Tbsp
  • mayonnaise - 1/2 c
  • hot pepper sauce - 1/2 tsp
  • celery seed - 2 tsp
  • head cabbage, shredded - 1 item
  • black pepper to taste - 1 item
  • sugar or to taste
  • small carrots, grated - 2 item

How to make creamy coleslaw:

In a large bowl, mix cabbage and carrots. In a small bowl, whisk sour cream, vinegar, mayonnaise and milk together. Add remaining ingredients; stir well. Pour over vegetables. Coat well; refrigerate until serving time.
