  • lasagna noodles - 1/2 pkg
  • butter - 2 Tbsp
  • fresh mushrooms - 1 c
  • chopped onions - 1/2 c
  • cream cheese - 1 pkg
  • chicken flavor instant bouillon granules - 1 Tbsp
  • container sour cream - 1 (8
  • eggs, slightly beaten - 2 item
  • nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
  • chopped, cooked chicken - 3 c
  • shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • parsley sprigs optional - 1 item
  • sliced almonds optional - 1 item

How to make creamy chicken lasagna:

Cook lasagna; drain. Preheat oven to 350°. Melt butter, add mushrooms and onion; cook until tender, stirring occasionally. Add cream cheese and bouillon. Cook until cheese is smooth and bouillon dissolves, stirring often. Remove from heat, stir in sour cream, eggs, nutmeg and chicken; mixing well.

In 13 x 9-inch baking dish, layer half each of noodles, chicken mixture and shredded cheese. Repeat layering. Cover, bake 30 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.

To serve, garnish with parsley and almonds. For added color, add 1 package frozen, chopped spinach (thawed) to cream cheese mixture. Serves 8 to 10.
