Creamy chicken and mushrooms
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/2 c
- garlic powder - 1/8 tsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- sliced mushrooms
- small onion, sliced - 1 item
- can mushroom soup - 1 item
- skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - 4 item
How to make creamy chicken and mushrooms:
In skillet in 1 tablespoon hot margarine, cook chicken 10 minutes or until browned. Remove. In an additional 1 tablespoon hot margarine, cook mushrooms, onion and garlic powder until tender and liquid is evaporated. Stir often. Add soup, milk and pepper. Heat to a boil. Return chicken to skillet, cover and cook over low heat for 5 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink. Stir often. Serve over noodles or rice.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Poultry.
