Creamy broccoli soup
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- water - 2 c
- whipping cream - 1/2 c
- margarine - 2 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- instant chicken bouillon - 1 Tbsp
- broccoli, cut up
- large stalk chopped celery - 1 item
How to make creamy broccoli soup:
Heat 2 cups water to boiling. Add broccoli, celery and onion. Cook until tender. Do not drain. Heat margarine until melted. Stir in flour until smooth. Add 1 1/2 cups water until boiling. Add cooked vegies, broth, bouillon, salt and pepper. Heat until just boiling. Stir in cream. Heat but do not boil.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Bisques/cream soups, Broccoli.
