Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- water - 4 Tbsp
- chopped cabbage - 3 c
How to make creamed cabbage:
Place cabbage, milk and salt in a tightly covered pan. Steam cabbage until tender when tried with a fork. In a small jar, pour 4 tablespoons water. Add 3 tablespoons flour. Place cover on jar and shake mixture until smooth. Stir butter and flour and water thickening into cabbage. Cook 5 minutes, stirring well.
