Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- cornstarch
- egg yolks - 2 item
- raisins - 1 c
- baked pie crust - 1 item
How to make cream raisin pie:
In saucepan, cover raisins with water; cook slowly until plumped and water is almost gone. Make mixture of sugar, salt, cornstarch and 1/4 cup milk. Add slightly beaten egg yolks. Add small amount of cornstarch mixture to raisins; stir. Alternately add remaining mixture and 3/4 cup milk; cook until thick. Add vanilla. Pour into a baked pie crust.
