Cream puffs
Ingredients/Components
- flour - 1/2 c
- boiling water - 1/2 c
- oleo - 1/4 c
- unbeaten eggs - 2 item
- directions
- chocolate chips, melted with 1 Tbsp
How to make cream puffs:
Chocolate Glaze:1/2 c. chocolate chips, melted with 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil Into boiling water, melt oleo. Add flour, all at once. Stir until a ball forms. Remove from heat and let set for 5 minutes. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each one. Drop onto greased cookie sheet by heaping tablespoonfuls. Bake at 450° for 10 minutes, then turn oven to 325° and bake for 25 minutes. Turn oven off. Cut off top of puffs and scoop out doughy insides with a fork. Discard this. Return puffs to still-warm oven to dry out inside. When ready to serve, fill with pudding (or ice cream or fruit) and drizzle glaze over top.Recipe categories: Desserts, < 60 mins, 5 ingredients or less.
