• eggs - 4 item
• flour - 1 c
• water - 1 c
• Imperial or shortening - 1/2 c

Put shortening and water in 2-quart pan. Bring to a boil. Add flour, then cook until thick. Stir constantly. When mixture gathers into a mass, remove from heat. Let cool for 6 to 8 minutes. Add unbeaten eggs, one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each
