Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 4 item
- water - 1 c
- sifted flour - 1 c
- instant vanilla pudding - 1 item
- Crisco butter - 1/2 c
How to make cream puffs:
Heat 1 cup of water to a rolling boil in saucepan and add Crisco butter. Stir in flour, all at once. Stir vigorously over low heat until mixture leaves the pan and forms into a ball, about 1 minute. Remove from heat. Beat in thoroughly one at a time the 4 eggs. Beat mixture until smooth and velvety. Drop from spoon onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake until dry. Allow to cool. Cut off top with sharp knife. Scoop out any filaments of soft dough, then chill.Recipe categories: Desserts, < 60 mins, 5 ingredients or less.
