Cream of potato soup
Ingredients/Components
- half and half - 1/2 pt
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- water - 2 c
- margarine - 4 Tbsp
- chicken broth
- fresh mushrooms - 4 oz
- minced garlic - 2 Tbsp
- green onions, chopped - 2 item
- finely chopped celery - 1/2 c
- medium potatoes, peeled and chopped - 6 item
- carrots, chopped fine - 2 item
- small sweet onion, chopped - 1 item
How to make cream of potato soup:
Use a heavy pot. Saute garlic, celery, green onions and sweet onion in butter. Add chopped potatoes, mushrooms and carrots; cook 3 minutes. Add chicken broth, water, salt and pepper.
