Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 1/3 c
- butter - 1/3 c
- heavy cream - 2 c
- chicken broth - 3 c
- chopped parsley - 2 Tbsp
- sliced mushrooms - 4 oz
- chicken, cooked and diced
How to make cream of chicken and mushroom soup:
In a pot, heat the butter. Add mushrooms and saute until tender. Add the flour and cook for 2 minutes. Add the chicken, broth, cream, seasonings and parsley. Simmer for 15 minutes. Serve hot.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Chicken, Bisques/cream soups.
