Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • flour - 1/3 c
  • butter - 1/3 c
  • heavy cream - 2 c
  • chicken broth - 3 c
  • chopped parsley - 2 Tbsp
  • sliced mushrooms - 4 oz
  • chicken, cooked and diced

How to make cream of chicken and mushroom soup:

In a pot, heat the butter. Add mushrooms and saute until tender. Add the flour and cook for 2 minutes. Add the chicken, broth, cream, seasonings and parsley. Simmer for 15 minutes. Serve hot.
