Cream of broccoli soup
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 2 oz
- milk - 6 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 6 c
- garlic powder - 1/4 tsp
- pepper to taste - 1 item
- onion, chopped - 3/4 c
- chicken bouillon cubes - 6 item
- Velveeta cheese, cubed - 1 lb
- butter/margarine - 3 Tbsp
- very thin noodles - 8 oz
How to make cream of broccoli soup:
*Boil fresh broccoli; defrost frozen.In a large pot, saute onion and butter 3 minutes. Add water and bouillon cubes; heat to boil and stir until bouillon cubes are dissolved. Gradually add noodles and salt; stir in broccoli. Add garlic powder; cook 4 minutes, uncovered. Reduce heat; add milk and cheese and stir until melted.
