Cream of broccoli soup
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 item
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- butter - 3 Tbsp
- light cream - 1 c
- pepper - 1 item
- diced onion - 1/3 c
- diced celery - 1/3 c
- thyme - 1 item
- chicken stock - 3 c
- broccoli - 1 c
- diced leek - 1/3 c
How to make cream of broccoli soup:
Melt butter; saute vegetables 5 minutes over low fire. Blend in flour, then chicken stock. Let boil. Season and let simmer until vegetables are tender. Add cream. Serve.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Bisques/cream soups, Broccoli.
