Ingredients/Components
- milk - 4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- butter - 2 tsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- chopped onion - 1 tsp
- pureed asparagus - 1 c
How to make cream of asparagus soup:
Saute onion in butter. Blend in flour, salt and pepper. Cook until smooth. Stir in asparagus. Cook 1 minute stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Gradually stir in milk. Heat until bubbly.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Soups & stews, Bisques/cream soups.
