Ingredients/Components
- butter, softened - 1/2 c
- sugar - 3 c
- eggs - 6 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- margarine, softened - 1 c
- sifted flour - 3 c
How to make cream cheese pound cake:
Combine first 3 ingredients, creaming well. Gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each. Add flour to creamed mixture, stirring until combined. Add vanilla. Pour batter into well-greased 10-inch tube pan. Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 45 minutes, or until cake tests done.
