  • sugar - 3 c
  • pkg - 8 oz
  • vanilla extract - 1 tsp
  • large eggs - 6 item
  • dash of salt - 1 item
  • plain flour - 3 c
  • sticks butter or margarine - 3 item

How to make cream cheese pound cake:

Allow cream cheese, butter and eggs to reach room temperature. Mix cream cheese, butter and sugar until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each. Add salt and vanilla flavoring. Stir in flour, gently by hand. Cook at 325° for 1 hour.

Hint: For variety, use alternate flavoring.
