Cream cheese mints
Ingredients/Components
- cream cheese - 8 oz
- butter - 1/4 c
- peppermint flavoring - 1/2 tsp
- boxes 10x sugar - 2 lb
- to 3 drops of food coloring - 1 item
How to make cream cheese mints:
Combine softened (not melted) cheese and butter. Beat well. Add sugar gradually; beat well. Add flavoring and color. Beat until nice and smooth. Roll into small balls and flatten with palm of hand. Place on wax paper and let dry for 4 hours or overnight, until mints are firm and the outside is dry, but inside is moist and creamy. Yields 8 dozen.Recipe categories: Desserts, Candy, Cheese.
