Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/3 c
- eggs - 2 item
- pkg - 1 8
- sour cream - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- water
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- margarine - 1/2 c
- squares unsweetened chocolate - 1 -
- pkg semi-sweet chocolate pieces - 1 6
How to make cream cheese brownies:
Combine softened cream cheese and 1/3 c. sugar, mixing until blended. Add egg; mix well. Combine margarine, water and chocolate in saucepan; bring to boil. Remove from heat. Stir into the combined flour & 2 c. sugar. Add eggs, sour cream, baking soda & salt. Pour into greased & floured large baking pan.Spoon cream cheese mixture over chocolate batter. Cut through batter with knife several times for marble effect. Sprinkle with chocolate pieces. Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes or until wooden toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
