Crawfish fettuccine
Ingredients/Components
- onions, chopped - 2 item
- celery stalks, chopped - 2 item
- small bell peppers - 2 item
- flour - 1/4 c
- sticks butter - 2 item
- parsley - 3 Tbsp
- crawfish tails - 2 lb
- half and half - 2/3 pt
- cloves garlic - 3 item
- Velveeta cheese* - 2/3 lb
- fettuccine noodles or angel hair pasta
How to make crawfish fettuccine:
*For spicy taste, use Mexican Velveeta with regular Velveeta.Saute onions, bell pepper and celery in butter; add flour. Cover and cook over low heat for 15 minutes. Stir often; add parsley and crawfish. Cook 15 minutes longer, stirring often. Add 1/2 and 1/2, garlic and half of the cheese. Salt and pepper to taste. Pour crawfish mixture over cooked noodles, stirring until well blended. Pour into greased, oblong casserole dish. Top with remaining cheese. Bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes. Serves 10 to 12.
