Cranberry salad
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- sour cream - 1 c
- cold water - 1/4 c
- boiling water
- can crushed pineapple - 1 oz
- chopped pecans or walnuts - 1 c
- can whole cranberry sauce - 1 oz
- envelope Knox gelatine - 1 item
- large orange - 1 item
- Port wine - 1/2 c
How to make cranberry salad:
boiling water together. Mix cold water and Knox gelatine together. Add Jell-O, Knox gelatine and Port wine together. When slightly thickened, add pineapple, cranberry sauce and finely chopped pecans or walnuts. Pour into 9 x 12-inch pan.When firmly set, top with cream cheese and sour cream blended together until smooth. Spread evenly, then grate fresh orange peel for garnish. Cut into squares. Serves 12 to 15.
