Cranberry pineapple salad
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- boiling water
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- orange juice - 3/4 c
- can jellied cranberry sauce - 1 oz
- lettuce leaves - 1 item
- mayonnaise - 1 item
- can crushed pineapple, undrained - 1 oz
How to make cranberry pineapple salad:
In a bowl, dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Break up and stir in cranberry sauce. Add pineapple, orange juice and lemon juice. Chill until partially set. Stir in nuts. Pour into an 11 x 7 x 2-inch dish. Chill until firm. Cut into squares. Serve each on a lettuce leaf and top with a dollop of mayonnaise.Recipe categories: Pineapple, Salads, Tropical fruits.
