Cranberry chutney
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- cinnamon - 1 Tbsp
- water - 1 c
- ginger
- raisins - 1 c
- ground cloves - 1/4 tsp
- medium onion, chopped fine - 1 item
- celery, chopped fine - 1/2 c
- fresh cranberries - 1 lb
- medium apple, chopped fine - 1 item
How to make cranberry chutney:
Add first 7 ingredients together in medium saucepan. Cook until cranberries pop and split. Add last 3 ingredients and simmer all together for 15 minutes.This chutney improves in flavor after a few days in refrigerator. It will keep nicely for 2 to 3 weeks in covered container in the refrigerator. This is wonderful served with poultry.
