Cranberry casserole
Ingredients/Components
- chopped pecans - 1/2 c
- granulated sugar
- flour - 1/3 c
- dash of salt - 1 item
- butter, melted - 1/2 c
- quick oats uncooked
- Ocean Spray cranberries - 2 c
- apples, pared and chopped
- brown sugar, packed full - 1/2 c
How to make cranberry casserole:
Combine apples, cranberries and granulated sugar in bowl with hand. Mix oats, brown sugar, nuts, flour and salt in separate bowl. Layer in 13 x 9-inch pan the cranberry and sugar mixture. Spread oat mixture over top. Pour melted butter over top. Bake at 350°, uncovered, for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Wonderful served on Thanksgiving.Recipe categories: Low protein, Main dish, Casseroles.
