Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- baking powder
- soft butter - 1/4 c
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- orange juice - 3/4 c
- grated orange rind - 1 tsp
- chopped cranberries - 1 c
How to make cranberry bread:
Sift dry ingredients. Cut in butter. Combine orange rind, juice and egg; add to dry ingredients, just enough to moisten. Fold in cranberries. Turn into greased and floured loaf pan; bake at 350° for approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes.Recipe categories: Breads, Fruit, Quick breads.
