Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1/2 c
- water - 2 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- 10x sugar - 1/3 c
- yellow cake mix - 1 item
- almond or vanilla extract - 1/4 tsp
- stick margarine, softened - 1 item
- Add slightly beaten egg, water and flavoring; mix until crumbly
- can whole berry cranberry sauce, broken up with a fork - 3/4 oz
How to make cranberry bars:
Mix dry cake mix, nuts and softened margarine until well combined. Add slightly beaten egg, water and flavoring; mix until crumbly. Pat into bottom of ungreased 9 x 13-inch baking pan. Bake at 350° for 8 minutes until puffed up some, but not brown.Filling:8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened1/3 c. 10x sugar1/2 tsp. vanilla1 egg3/4 (16 oz.) can whole berry cranberry sauce, broken up with a fork Beat cream cheese, sugar, vanilla and egg until light and fluffy. Spread evenly over pre-baked crust. Spread cranberry sauce in 3 lengthwise rows and with a knife, marble into cheese mixture. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Leave in pan to cool.
