Cranberry apple stuffing
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 2 tsp
- butter - 1 c
- eggs, beaten - 4 item
- chopped walnuts - 1 c
- orange juice - 1/2 c
- savory - 1/2 tsp
- thyme - 1/2 tsp
- large chopped onion - 1 item
- stalks chopped celery - 3 item
- golden raisins - 1/2 c
- can whole berry cranberry sauce - 1 item
- unseasoned croutons - 1 pkg
- dried apricots, snipped - 1/4 c
- medium green apples, peeled and diced - 2 item
How to make cranberry apple stuffing:
Heat oven to 325°. Melt butter in a large skillet. Add onion and celery, stirring often, until cooked tender. Add to croutons and mix. Add remaining ingredients. Stuff bird or spoon into casserole dish. Makes enough for 14 to 16 pound birds.Recipe categories: Apple, Side dish, Stuffings Dressings.
