- sliced apples - 3 c
- fresh or frozen cranberries - 2 c
- cinnamon-sugar - 1 item
- crust 9-inch pie shell - 2 item
How to make cranberry-apple pie:
Prepare pastry. Stir together the flour and sugar. Layer apples, cranberries and flour mixture into pastry-lined pan. Dot with 1 to 2 tablespoons of margarine. Cover with crust; cut slits, seal, etc. Dot top with 1 to 2 tablespoons of margarine. Sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar. Bake 40 to 50 minutes at 425° until bubbly. If desired, cover edges with foil until the last 15 minutes to prevent excessive browning. Best served with vanilla ice cream.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
