Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- firmly packed brown sugar - 1/2 c
- margarine, melted - 1/4 c
- dry oatmeal - 1 c
- can whole berry cranberry sauce - 1 oz
- medium Granny Smith apples - 5 item
- Peel, core and slice apples
How to make cranberry apple crisp:
Preheat oven to 375°. Peel, core and slice apples. Place in 9 x 13-inch baker. Combine cranberry sauce, sugar and flour in bowl. Mix well, then pour over apples.Topping:1/4 c. walnuts1 c. dry oatmeal1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar1/3 c. flour1 tsp. cinnamon1/4 c. margarine, melted Combine all ingredients with margarine. Sprinkle over fruit mixture. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes or until top is golden brown and fruit is tender.May be topped with ice cream or Cool Whip when served.
