eggs - 2 item
vanilla - 2 tsp
chopped nuts - 1 c
flour
coconut - 1 c
soda - 1 tsp
baking powder - 1 tsp
Rice Krispies - 2 c
white sugar - 1 c
, softened - 2 sticks
lightly packed brown sugar when measuring, spoon it lightly in cup - 1 c
old-fashioned oatmeal - 2 c

How to make cracker jack cookies:

Preheat oven to 350°. Thoroughly cream together oleo and sugars; add eggs and vanilla. Mix well. Sift together flour, baking powder and soda. Combine flour and egg mixture; add oatmeal, coconut, cereal and nuts and mix well. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart on greased baking sheet. Bake for about 10 minutes or until brown. Remove from baking sheet immediately. Makes 6 dozen.
