Crab stuffed mushrooms
Ingredients/Components
- egg, slightly beaten - 1 item
- lemon juice - 1 tsp
- butter, melted - 2 Tbsp
- Crisco oil - 1/4 c
- chopped onion - 2 Tbsp
- soft bread crumbs - 1/2 c
- mayonnaise - 2 Tbsp
- large fresh mushrooms - 12 item
- 7 1/2 oz - 1 c
How to make crab stuffed mushrooms:
Rinse and pat dry mushrooms. Remove stems and brush caps with oil. Place on buttered baking dish. Combine crabmeat, egg, mayonnaise, onion, lemon juice and 1/2 cup of bread crumbs with melted butter. Sprinkle over crab mixture. Bake in preheated 375° oven for 15 minutes. Yields 12 stuffed mushrooms.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Shellfish, Crab.
