Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/2 c
- eggs, beaten - 3 item
- cream - 1 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- shredded Swiss cheese - 1 c
- dash of Tabasco if desired - 1 item
- flaked crab - 1 c
- prepared pie crust bottom - 1 item
How to make crab quiche:
Beat eggs, cream and milk together. Add salt and pepper and set aside. Saute onion in 1 tablespoon butter until onion is clear. Spread onion over crust. Layer crab meat on onion, then sprinkle with cheese. Pour egg mixture over top. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Shellfish, Crab.
