Crab puffs
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 4 item
- butter or margarine - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- water - 1 c
- dry mustard - 1/2 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
- shredded sharp Cheddar cheese - 1/2 c
- green onions, chopped - 3 item
- can crab meat - 1 1/2
How to make crab puffs:
Drain crab and flake. Combine crab with onions, cheese, Worcestershire sauce and mustard. Combine water, butter and salt in saucepan; bring to a boil and remove from heat. Add flour and beat until mixture forms a ball and leaves sides of pan. Add eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition. Stir in crab mixture. Drop batter by small teaspoons onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 400° for 15 minutes. Reduce to 350° and bake 10 more minutes. Serve hot.
