Ingredients/Components
- half and half
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- butter - 1/4 c
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
- chopped celery - 3/4 c
- catsup - 1 Tbsp
- bread crumbs - 1 c
- mayonnaise - 1 Tbsp
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- shredded onion - 3/4 c
- hot sauce to taste - 1 item
- frozen crab meat - 1 lb
How to make crab imperial:
Saute onions and celery in butter. Add flour and blend well. Add cream (half and half). Cook until mixture boils and thickens. Add seasonings and crab meat. Stir well. Before serving, spoon mixture into greased shells. Top with crumbs and bits of butter. Brown in the oven at 325°. Can be made up ahead and put in the freezer.
