Crab casserole
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- eggs, beaten - 3 item
- margarine - 4 Tbsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
- bread crumbs - 1 c
- mayonnaise - 1/4 1/2
- grated Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- minced onion - 1 Tbsp
- crabmeat - 1 lb
- minced green pepper - 2 Tbsp
How to make crab casserole:
Melt 2 tablespoons margarine in a medium saucepan; add flour and milk. Cook until slightly thickened, stirring constantly. Add eggs, green pepper, onion, salt and Worcestershire sauce. Stir in crabmeat and mayonnaise. Mix well. Stir in cheese.Pour mixture into a greased 2-quart casserole. Sprinkle crumbs over casserole. Melt rest of margarine and pour over crumbs. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes until golden brown on top and bubbly. Serves 8.
