Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • melted butter - 4 Tbsp
  • cooking oil - 1 item
  • eggs, well beaten - 2 item
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • bread crumbs - 1 item
  • pinch of cayenne pepper - 1 item
  • crab meat spec - 1 lb

How to make crab cakes:

Mix crab meat, butter, seasoning and enough egg to mold into cakes. Beat 1 tablespoon of water into the remaining egg and dip the cakes in this mixture; roll into bread crumbs. Saute until rich brown in frying pan or deep fry at 380°.
