- salt - 1/2 tsp
- melted butter - 4 Tbsp
- cooking oil - 1 item
- eggs, well beaten - 2 item
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- bread crumbs - 1 item
- pinch of cayenne pepper - 1 item
- crab meat spec - 1 lb
How to make crab cakes:
Mix crab meat, butter, seasoning and enough egg to mold into cakes. Beat 1 tablespoon of water into the remaining egg and dip the cakes in this mixture; roll into bread crumbs. Saute until rich brown in frying pan or deep fry at 380°.Recipe categories: Seafood, Shellfish, Crab.
