Ingredients/Components
- butter or margarine - 2 Tbsp
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- milk - 1 c
- egg yolks, slightly beaten - 2 item
- size crabmeat - 2 cans
- chopped parsley - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- nutmeg - 1/8 tsp
- dash of cayenne - 1 item
- soft white bread crumbs - 1/2 c
- dry bread crumbs - 3/4 c
- salad oil - 1 item
How to make crab cakes:
Melt butter in medium saucepan; remove from heat. Stir in flour to make smooth mixture. Gradually stir in milk. Bring to boiling over medium heat, stirring, reduce heat and simmer 1 minute. Beat some hot mixture into egg yolks. Return to rest of mixRecipe categories: Seafood, Shellfish, Crab.
