Ingredients/Components

  • evaporated milk - 1 c
  • lemon juice - 2 tsp
  • pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • mustard - 1 tsp
  • bread crumbs - 1/2 c
  • salt to taste - 1 item
  • onion, finely chopped - 1 tsp
  • celery - 1/2 c
  • green pepper, finely chopped - 1/4 c
  • crab meat - 1 lb
  • Worcestershire sauce to taste - 1 item
  • unsalted butter or margarine, melted - 1/4 c
  • tartar sauce - 1/2 c

How to make crab cakes:

Mix all ingredients. Shape into patties. Bake at 450° for 10 minutes, or until golden.
