Ingredients/Components

  • eggs - 2 item
  • butter - 2 Tbsp
  • vegetable oil - 2 Tbsp
  • heavy cream - 3 Tbsp
  • dry mustard - 1 tsp
  • bread crumbs - 1 c
  • cayenne pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • green onion, chopped - 1 item
  • small onion, cut fine - 1 item
  • lump crab - 1 lb
  • green pepper to suit taste - 1 item

How to make crab cakes:

Mix crab, onion, eggs, green pepper, mustard, cream, cayenne and bread crumbs. Form into 8 cakes; roll in bread crumbs. Fry until brown. These freeze well.
