Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- vegetable oil - 2 Tbsp
- heavy cream - 3 Tbsp
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- bread crumbs - 1 c
- cayenne pepper - 1/4 tsp
- green onion, chopped - 1 item
- small onion, cut fine - 1 item
- lump crab - 1 lb
- green pepper to suit taste - 1 item
How to make crab cakes:
Mix crab, onion, eggs, green pepper, mustard, cream, cayenne and bread crumbs. Form into 8 cakes; roll in bread crumbs. Fry until brown. These freeze well.Recipe categories: Seafood, Shellfish, Crab.
