Country vegetable soup

- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 4 c
- stick butter - 1 item
- chicken bouillon cubes - 2 item
- sliced carrots - 1 c
- sliced celery - 1 c
- sliced onion - 1 c
- milk or cream - 1 c
- sliced potatoes - 1 c
- sliced turnips - 1 c
How to make country vegetable soup:
Melt butter in a deep heavy pot. Add all the sliced vegetables. Cover tightly and stew over low heat for 20 minutes. Chop cooked vegetables; add water. Bring to a boil and simmer 20 minutes.Add bouillon cubes, dissolved in 1 cup hot water. Bring to a boil. Add milk or cream. Serve.
