Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- all-purpose flour - 2 Tbsp
- chopped tomatoes - 2 c
- buttered bread crumbs - 1/2 c
- small chopped onion - 1/2 item
- bulk sausage - 1 lb
- drained corn - 2 c
How to make country sausage casserole:
Cook sausage until brown; drain and leave. Put 2 tablespoons of drippings in skillet. Saute onion and flour in reserved grease until brown. Add remaining sausage and tomatoes, corn and sugar; mix well. Pour into a 2-quart casserole dish. Sprinkle with bread crumbs.
