Ingredients/Components
- eggs, beaten - 4 item
- cream - 1 c
- chopped onion - 2 Tbsp
- Swiss cheese, grated
- sausage - 1 pkg
- chopped green bell peppers - 1/4 c
- chopped red bell peppers - 1/4 c
- 9-inch pie shell premade or from scratch
How to make country breakfast pie:
Cook sausage until done. Crumble, then drain. Prepare 9-inch pie shell. Mix cheese and sausage. Sprinkle in shell. Lightly beat eggs in bowl. Combine remaining ingredients and add to egg mixture. Pour into shell. Bake at 375° for 40 to 45 minutes. Cool on rack 10 minutes. Yields 6 to 8 servings.Recipe categories: < 60 mins, Breakfast, Time to make.
