Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- sour cream - 1 c
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- egg - 1 item
- margarine, softened - 1/3 c
- chopped walnuts - 1/2 c
- box yellow cake mix - 1 item
- can apple pie filling - 20 oz
How to make country apple dessert:
Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, combine cake mix, margarine and egg. Beat at low speed until crumbly. Press in an ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan. Spread pie filling on top. Combine brown sugar, nuts and cinnamon. Sprinkle over apples. In a small bowl, blend sour cream, egg and vanilla. Pour over brown sugar mixture. Bake at 350° for 40 to 50 minutes until golden brown.
