Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- sour cream - 1 c
- chopped nuts - 1/4 c
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- melted butter - 1/3 c
- egg - 1 item
- box yellow cake mix - 1 item
- can apple pie filling - 1 oz
How to make country apple cake:
Mix together first 3 ingredients and pour into baking dish (I spray with Pam). Pat to cover bottom of dish. Pour in apple pie filling. Spread over cake mixture. Mix brown sugar, cinnamon and chopped nuts. Pour over mixture. Mix sour cream, 1 egg and vanilla. Drizzle over cake. Bake at 350° for 40 to 50 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Apple.
